The Practice of Accepting What Is
Share
In Zen practice, there's a way of seeing "things as they are."
It's called Tathagata.
It's an understanding that the world simply exists.
It doesn't need our labels of good or bad, fair or unfair.
These judgments live in our minds, not in reality itself.
When we stop insisting things should be different we see more clearly. We stop fighting what is.
This isn't about becoming passive, it's about understanding reality before reacting to it.
When we release our constant judging, we often find unexpected peace.
"We suffer more often in imagination than in reality." -Seneca
