Just a Gentle Noticing

If you’re new here, welcome.

We always say..."You've tried everything, now try nothing."

We mean that. There’s nothing to do in order for you to be happy and satisfied with your life. Truly nothing.

But if your mind still wants to do something (as minds often do), here’s a gentle invitation, not a practice, not a method, just a doorway:

Start noticing what’s already here.

A cool breeze on a hot day. The sound of a bird. The way your coffee smells.

If you feel moved, you can jot these moments down in your notebook.

Not as a task, but as a quiet acknowledgment.

Something like:

“I noticed______."

That’s it.

Here's a short list of things I have noticed in the past few days:

  • The texture of my socks on my feet. (I have a thing for new socks!)
  • The smell of toast.
  • Our cat stretching after a nap.
  • The taste of scrambled eggs.
  • The smell of our freshly mowed grass.

It’s the art of letting life remind you of how beautiful it is.

Noticing is not doing. It’s undoing.

You’re not trying. You’re just being.
