Coming Back to Awareness

I wish it weren't so true but so many of us spend our days living in our thoughts.

Thinking about what just happened, what might happen next, what should be different.

It feels normal but it can be so exhausting.

It's not a stretch to describe our mind as loud, busy, and always trying to get somewhere else.

Awareness is different.

It’s slower and quieter.

It’s the part of you that notices the thoughts instead of getting pulled into them.

There's not much to do to access it. You don’t need better thoughts or a calmer day. Just noticing that you’re here, aware of this moment, is enough.
